A little bit about me
With over two decades dedicated to technology and a career marked by teaching and research in the development of educational content and learning methodologies in Computer Science, focusing on Digital Systems, Computer Programming, and Artificial Intelligence, I currently apply my expertise in Education and Computer Science as a teacher in K-12 education.
My passion for developing innovative solutions in education has led me to achieve several significant milestones: winning the award for Best Master's Dissertation at CBIE-2017, securing fourth place in the First Latin American Educational Technology for Learning Competition, having my Ph.D. Thesis nominated for the 2024 Capes Thesis Award (considered the highest honor in Brazilian science), and being invited to represent UFRJ at RIW 2023 and 2024 with the theme "Demystifying Artificial Intelligence for the General Public."
My academic background and professional experience in computer science and education, combined with my training as an actor and my volunteer work in non-formal education for young people, have enabled me to develop a deep understanding of the intersection between education, art, and technology. This intersection significantly influences my research processes and teaching practice.
I am committed to shaping critical and creative thinkers who can understand the reality they are part of and act upon it consciously and insightfully. The fusion of educational practice, scientific research, and art defines the essence of my work, aiming to drive learning and innovation in the field of technological education.
